torres del paine. pavement turns into gravel, gravel into loose gravel and loose gravel into hicking trails. guanacos and nandus crossing the road everywhere as the torres grow bigger.

After an ecxiting day ride and my first gravel expirience I set camp at the foot of las cuernos. The next day after a I almost froze to death (thanks for the awesome walmart-tent sean ;)) I got up to the mirrador de las torres and back in a 7h hike.

The friendly parkrangers let me park my bike and store my gear as I take the catamaran over the lake to hike to the glaciar grey! The epic glacier with floating icebergs in the lake make up for ruining my knee during on the 6h rollercoaster hike.

Reading a book by the river, the warm sun puts me asleep. Got waken up by the "house-falcon" of campamento italiano who mistakes me for dead prey. I take a bath in the freakin cold river to get back my spirits and tune in for chileno-lessons @ camp

After another 8h hike to the foggy mirrador britanico of valle francaise I set camp on the lake and cross it next day. As we get out of the fogg this amazing view of las cuernos strikes me.

The park shows my its full beauty for the last time as I'm about to leave - not making this any easier. It has been an amazing time with perfect weather conditions and cool company which kept me from dying in my underqualified camping gear.

Back to civilication. I meet up with the cali camping buddies for some real food and beers after 5 days of pasta and tomato sauce straight.

... 13h journey with a night race against the local import-tuning scene of ushuaia on the super twisty and awesome mountain road into the town. Totally exhausted I meet a good old dutch friend who is clearly suprised already seeing me. What a ride!

super exhausting and dangerous riding! sooo windy can't hear my own thoughts. Gasstations are super rare. My battery dies. At dawn I decend into a surreal valley revolved by snowy or salty mountains. Forced to set the tent close to the village.

Due to the perfect weather I take the awesome caraterra austral way to scenic. On another unreal ride along azur-turqouis-blue lakes, through a jurassic park like vally and over a snowy pass I just make it to cerro castillos before nightfall.

mad trip from el bolson to bariloche. cold, rainy, dark, no visiblity at all. I tail an acient ambulance car with no back or break light through the mountains. Another journey on planet surreal. Next day I got rewarded by this! YES - this yes.

Machu picchu. Lots of crazy death roads and long hikes are rewarded by spectacular views and a manifest of the brilliance of a eradiated civilication. Amazing vibes at a sacred place of the longlost center to worship of the sun.
